Five years later, I left J&J to start my own company, King's Medical Company, where we have just celebrated 30 years of being in business. My wife, Sandy, and I have been married for 45 years and have been blessed with three children, one of which is a son who was born with birth defects as a result of my exposure to Agent orange. In addition, there are three grand children and a wonderful son-in-law. God has blessed my life.

About Me
I joined the Army for three years on May 2,1974 After Basic training at Fort Knox Kentucky and A.I.T. at Fort Sill Oklahoma I was sent to Fort Hood Texas to serve in the 1st Cavalry Division with Battery F/79th AFA (aerial field artillery) AKA Blue Max. F/79th was an attack helicopter unit that originally consisted of three companies of armed Huey's but it was eventually changed to an all Cobra unit and was designed to give immediate air support to ground troops. It had been inactivated in Vietnam in 1972 then re-activated in 1974 just around the time I enlisted. Eventually the company was inactivated again so I was transferred to HHB DIVARTY 1st Cavalry Division at Fort Hood and that's where I stayed until my ETS on May 1, 1977
